I can change individual leads sectors however i do not have the time do change over 100 leads to the same sector so would like to do this in one go.
Can someone tell me how i can do this?

Are you the system admin? If not get with your admin, ask them nicely and then prepare to offer bribes and they will do it for you. If you are then use your data loader to export the Lead ID's add in a column for your sector data, save as a csv and then run an upsert to update the data.
