Domain Setup Delay?

Question

I just added a Domain into Salesforce today including the certifcate, and the status shows as "Awaiting Custom URL".  Am I supposed to be doing another step or is Salesforce doing something on the backend that will take some time before I can activate the Domain?  We did the CNAME changes previously.

Hi David,

You would need to create a custom URL and map your custom domain to site (community url).

Once completed, custom domain status will change to 'Provisioning' and eventually turns to 'Awaiting Activation'.

Hi David,   Just wait it out till the Salesforce finishes up some processing at their backend. Once done, you will be notified via an email about the same.
