Unless your Admin or Devloper has customized you Activity buttons there should be "Save & New Task" or "Save & New Event" button.
On the Reports Tab you can create a Report of "My Activities..." and filter and group the Activites by the day the were created or the day the activity was scheduled for. If you have the required permissions you can even schedule it to run every morning and be emailed to you as a reminder or "To Do" list.
