Looking to do a mass email -- from within an event. any suggestions?

We are setting up an event and want to be able to communicate with our guests and maintain the tracking from within the event.   Any suggestions on how we accomplish that? Thanks

I would create a report for your Event that contains all of its invitiees, then use the Add to Campaign button and add them all to an Email Campaign. Then use the Mass Email Contacts wizard to create a new view, filter by the Email Campaign, find your mass email template you want to send and send it off!
