Analytic Snapshot - Field Mapping

Question

I have created an analytic snapshot that is working properly, with one exception.  I mapped the opportunity "stage" (picklist) value coming from the source report (tabular) to my custom object field (also picklist).  The snapshot is running according to schedule, succesfully.  The problemt is that the "stage" value is not being captured.  Thoughts?
