how do I add a a SF call made or task to a report

how do I pull calls and tasks from SF into a SF report?

    Create an Activities Report.

     

    Follow this trail:

     

    Reports tab > New Report button > + next to Activities > Tasks and Events > Create

     

    From here just create your date range and other criteria to finish the report.
