My org is looking to restructure our profile and permissions since it is starting to get bulky. however one challenge that we face in transitioning is when we create fields or new custom object it is difficult to manage the access via permission sets. granted its also difficult to do it in profile however at least on field creation we can get to choose which profile would have access to it.

is there a way to do the same thing with available permission sets?
