I am using salesforce classic. Can I move to lightning without a custom domain name?

@Anshul Tyagi it is upon you whether you allow or prevent users from login with "https://login.salesforce.com/?locale=in ". You will find an option to prevent or not on the mydomain setup page.
Only use Prevent login from
https://login.salesforce.com if you’re concerned that users who aren’t aware of your subdomain try to use it. Otherwise, leave the option available to your users while they get used to the new domain name.
