How to display an image stored in salesforce Files (ContentVersion) on email templates, like we could do with the Documents Tab ?

We are trying to migrate all the image files stored on Salesforce Documents to Salesforce Files from igration assistant recommendations (attached) as a best practice going forward. Earlier, In order to display the images on email templates we store them on Documents tab (Production) and access it using the URL on all the sandboxes & production, we are trying to replicate the same on Salesforce Files (ContentVersion), however, we couldn't. Is there a better way to do it?

So far we migrated manually the images, and the visualforce email templates to point to the file images instead

But, when accessing the template the image now does not render.
