Hi @Kristi Wallace: though it's not exactly your question, Files are so, so much better than Attachments, and the way to go, that it might be worth for you to look into it. Not everything is supported compared to attachments (like email to case attachments attached to the Email and visible on the case, this does not work with Files), but preview, versioning, custom metadata, etc. all is quite worth it. And that would save you the hassle of using a custom component to display Articles in the Community. Counterpoint, though: the standard component in Community does not give you the ability to mask useless and even perturbing details (url field, section titles...), so creating your own component has also its advantages.
