@Lara Black @Kylie Yancey @Michael McNeeley @Alexis Westergren @Adam Kintner -
hey guys, can you please share your thoughts on the following use case?
We are using Salesforce Campaigns to record all of the company organized Events. And based on the County where the event happening, we want to send an update to all Prospects in that County about an upcoming event.
- We are utilizing Salesforce "State and Country/Territory Picklists" feature where we have specified all UK counties.
- As soon as the new event is created, we want to check the County.
- We have created Dynamic lists in Pardot for each county to pull all the Prospects
- Now we are looking to develop effective way how to blast appropriate people as soon as there is a new event Countie
Would really appreciate hearing your thoughts.
Thank you. :)
So here's the flow I use. It's important to know that for my company Customers and Prospects are the same thing.
I have dynamic lists in Pardot that check a field in Salesforce to see what types of items Accounts purchase (so all the contacts under that account ultimately purchase as well). My lists are divided up that way so when I send an email out I only want it going to customers who historically have purchased that category of items so by using that Dynamic Email list in Pardot I can ensure only people who are interested in those items receive the email. I also have 2 campaigns going for each email blast, one for people who open the email and one for people who don't. This is helpful if I want to then resend the email blast to those who opened the email but didn't purchase. Engagement Studio is my JAM!!!
As long as you have the right fields syncing back and forth between Salesforce and Pardot, you can create a dynamic list from any Salesforce Data. That is how I stay organized in Pardot and better segment my customers. Your flow sounds great I would just play with Engagement Studio. I use it for ALL of my campaigns. ALL OF THEM!!!! :)
