Our Salesforce Classic sorts Contacts by Last Name, First Name. I don't see any settings that lead me to believe this is a customization on our part. Is there a way to get Lightning to sort the same way for searches and filters?

@Josie Henle I see what you're saying re: List Views. In Lightning we are sorting the name field as: 'first, last' for both List Views and Lightning. Currently there isn't a way to change that. One solution would be to add the fields 'first name' and 'last name' to your list view (and Search Layout for search results) and then the user could sort specifically on 'last name' if they wanted to.
