Sorry guys. I am just struggling with this a lot. How do I get my Lightning Page Layout to switch for the previewed page layout to the next one in line? I have even taken off the record type that is assigned to the previewed page layout and I still keep getting the first one. I can not switch to the next one no matter what I do. Can someone please guide me and help me understand what am I missing? Thank You

Check to see if the LEX page is assigned by profile, or as org default. Click "Assign" and you can see all of the assignment options and it's current settings. I ran into that with a client and it took me ages to figure out that those assignments were overriding everything else.
