Just wondering if anyone has an idea(s) on how to do the following:
Automatically prompt the opening of an excel template saved in SFDC via Files or Documents whenever a specific case record type is created?

Hi @Bridget Dubas. The excel template is a form of sorts. A team wants an excel template to open each time a specific case record type is created. It's an internal case that would only be created by a CSR. We were looking for a "code-less" option to the request. I like the idea of creating a record with a custom object. My initial thoughts were with Files because my brain is fresh with SP'15.
