Agentforce Vibes

This is a group for anyone interested in the Agentforce Vibes Visual Studio Code extension and IDE. Here, you can ask questions, share feedback, and learn more about the new agentic developer experience specifically designed to super-charge developer productivity! Note: Agentforce Vibes is not the same as Agentforce.

I am working on my Agentblazer Legend status and having fun while doing it. I hope I get to work hands-on on a real customer agent soon.

As I am doing the Become an Agentforce Legend trail, I am so impressed how agents can be connected to Slack. I have a lot of experience with Slack and seeing this capability in the hands on challenges has been eye opening as yet another way that Slack can be customized to fit your business' needs.  I am excited to utilize this IRL!

I haven't used Agentforce in a real business scenario yet, but after building the Coral Cloud Resort agent, I can see how valuable it would be for customer service. Having an AI agent automatically handle common questions like weather or booking details would save human reps hours of time and improve the customer experience!

(Trailhead Legend) Sharing one way agents are impacting your business

One area where I see Agentforce having a meaningful impact is in reducing the gap between finding information and taking action. Instead of navigating multiple Salesforce records, an agent can understand the context, surface relevant information, and assist with the next step in the process.

This is particularly valuable for processes that involve repetitive decisions or multiple steps, as it helps teams work more efficiently while keeping the business process and Salesforce data at the center. I think the real value of agents isn't just automation, but making existing workflows more accessible and easier to execute.

I have not worked with Agentforce in a real business scenario yet. I am currently learning about it and exploring different ways it can be useful in business.

One use case I found interesting is using an Agentforce agent as a sales assistant. It could help sales reps find product information, quickly understand opportunity details, and prepare follow-up emails or tasks.

I think this could save sales reps time that they normally spend searching for information or doing manual work. They can then spend more time talking with customers and focusing on their opportunities.

I am looking forward to learning more and hopefully getting an opportunity to work with Agentforce in a real-world scenario.

Till now, i have not worked or used agentforce in real business sceanrio, however soon i am hoping to get it. however still what interesting i found, there are many but i am sharing about one scenario.

Scenario

: Deploying an Agentforce Sales Assistant to help sales reps answer technical product queries, summarize lengthy opportunity histories, and automatically draft follow-up tasks or emails.

Business Impact

Sales reps spend less time toggling between different systems and manual entry. The agent quickly retrieves product details and CRM context, allowing reps to respond to prospective clients faster and dedicate more hours to relationship-building and closing deals.

Those are very good use cases for an Employee Agetnforce agent.

    - Answer technical product queries (RAG)

    - Summarize lengthy opportunity histories (Agent + Prompt Templates)

    - Automatically draft follow-up tasks or emails (Agent + Prompt Templates)

As a partner, we have implemented many AF agents but are not using them much in our org. We have however implemented Slackbot and it has been a gamechanger. Since it is tied into our org + our G Drive + historical channels and posts, I can find just about anything about our business - right in the interface we use for daily communications. On top of that it automatically summarizes channels and creates action items & follow-up reminders. It's like the assistant I never had or knew I needed!

    Hey Amanda,

Great timing since you're already deep into the Legend trail — a few concrete steps that'll help close the gap to actually passing:

    1. Do the official Trailhead cert prep module specifically

Search Trailhead for "Salesforce Agentforce Specialist Certification Prep" — it's a dedicated module (separate from the Legend trail) that walks through the exact exam blueprint and weighted domains. This is the most directly aligned free resource.

    2. Know the exam structure going in

60 questions, three answer choices each (not the usual four), multiple-choice/multiple-select. Classic Salesforce pattern applies: one clearly right answer, one clearly wrong, and one "sounds right but isn't best practice" — training yourself to spot that third option is a real skill worth practicing.

    3. Hands-on time matters more than reading time for this one

This exam is described consistently as harder than it looks on paper — heavy emphasis on actually having configured Agent Builder, Prompt Builder, topics/actions, grounding, and the Agentforce Testing Center yourself, not just knowing definitions. If your Legend trail work was mostly guided steps, spend some unguided time in a Dev Org building an agent from scratch, breaking it, and fixing it.

    4. Key domains to weight your study time around

    - Agentforce configuration (agents, topics, actions)

    - Prompt Builder use cases, templates, grounding

    - Data Library / Data Cloud retrievers for grounding accuracy

    - Platform security/sharing as it applies to agent access

    - Testing Center and reliability validation

    5. Practice exams

Community-built practice tests (Focus on Force, TrailblazePrep, Salesforce Ben's guide) are widely recommended alongside the official Trailhead practice questions — useful for getting comfortable with scenario-based phrasing before the real thing.

Given you're almost done with Legend, I'd spend your remaining prep time on hands-on rebuilding rather than more reading — that's the piece people consistently say the exam tests hardest.

Not easily any more - it was free last year but that was a limited time offer.

Now you are basically looking at the same options as getting a voucher or free exam for any Salesforce Certification

    1) Attend TDX or Dreamforce in person in San Francisco

    2) Complete and be a lucky winner in a Trailhead Quest that advertises a voucher as a prize (note you have to be a winner - completing the Quest does not guarantee a voucher)

    3) Be or work for a Salesforce partner - they get a very limited number of vouchers each year

You can also keep an eye out for local community events that advertise vouchers as prizes for participation. Occasionally there are competitions on platforms like LinkedIn. In general it's hard to get vouchers
