Hey guys, What classes are necessary for the CPQ Certification? Can they be taken remote and do partners get access at no cost? Want to compare the cost of taking the class to the cost of annual partnership.

Hi All,

I have two issues regarding CPQ Training.

I went through the training videos provided in 'SteelBrick Training Learning Pathway' except one video(named Product Setup) in 'Contracting process' as it says 'We are experiencing system errors, please try later.'

There is also a module which is not marked as Completed though we have gone through that module.

Because of these two issues we are not able to get a Blue Belt in CPQ

Hi all,

   We recently installed Steelbrick in our org. When creating a new quote, the selection of pricebook is not displaying. Lightning is enabled in the org, both on lightning and classic, we are only getting a Please Wait on the screen. Does anyone know what may cause this? I did the same with my training org and that one is working.

Does anyone have a link to Steelbrick CPQ installation or Steelbrick demo kit? The previous link is not accessible now.

We have the Variant Configurator module in Sap and we want to use the same mechanism to get the price during the quote creation process in SalesForce. To archieve this goal we need (I suppose) get a CPQ app in SalesForce and create some interfaces from SAP to SalesForce to matain the same data in both systems.

If someone has experience in this kind of implememtation, please can you give me some information / key points / apps used and other relevant information.

Query regarding Quote generator:

Hi all,

On the quote generator, i have observed that if i put any image in the generator, that is rendered correctly for some time and after a day or two, the image cannot be displayed. I could trace this issue to login from Steelbrick API which we are supposed to give access to in basic configuration settings. Any idea why images get lost/deleted after some time and what can be done to keep images permanent?

As an alternative , tried putting the  image in documents and sourcing that in quotation but again domain issues  prevent it from being displayed.

Hoping this is a very small issue and someone has fixed it..

I've added product options to all of our primary products - some of which have a price associated - but the price of these options is not included in the subtotal on the quote. Whatever function that is calculating the subtotal is only summing the primary products and none of the chosen product options.
