Hi Team,

We are currently working on creating an MCP server for Salesforce to integrate with an Agentforce agent. However, we have not been able to find a way to create and register a custom MCP server that can be used with Agentforce.

So far, we have explored Agentforce Vibe, where we observed the built-in MCP server “SalesforceDX”. While this is helpful, our requirement is to build and use our own custom MCP server and connect it with an Agentforce agent.

I have tried to connect the salesforce Api Context MCP Server which is now available in beta using the Agentforce vibe through configuring the json files.

But i am facing a issue when i am going to test the connection for this MCP server.

Please take the reference from the attached Screenshot:

Build or Connect Remote MCP server on Salesforce Level

It will be helpful if anyone can help me in this.

Thanks with Regards

    Hi @Abhishek Sharma

I believe Agentforce currently supports MCP through Salesforce-managed and partner-provided servers, while registering and using custom MCP servers at the org level is not generally available yet.
