Hi everyone, 

I have a custom multi-select picklist field that contains many inactive picklist values. I want to bulk delete these inactive values instead of removing them one-by-one in multi-select picklist

field detail page. 

I couldn't find a native option in Salesforce to mass-delete inactive values for multi-select picklists. Is there any recommended approach or best practice to perform this in bulk? 

 (For example: Metadata API, SFDX, VS Code, or any tool-based method?)

Has anyone done this before, and what is the safest/most efficient way to clean up inactive multi-select picklist values?
