Hello Tableau Community!

We are currently using Inmoment for our company surveys. We are hoping to automate the transfer of that data to be used in our Tableau reports.

Does anyone have any experience with this? If so, can you share how you did and/or how would you do it?

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hi @Charlie Mouy

I've never heard of it before but the approach is similar for most of these things ... .

You won't get direct access to the database, you can probably download the raw data (manually, but no one has the time for that!!) but they will probably offer an API connection as well.

Ah API, in Tableau you can use a Web Data Connector (WDC), but don't get too excited because WDCs don't work with Tableau Cloud, only Tableau Server.

But an API is still your best option (in my opinion), check out Hevo (probably a code-free setup for Inmoment) & Fivetran (you'll need additional infrastructure to get this working) to pull the data out of Inmoment and land it in a database (I love using Snowflake) and then use Tableau to connect to the database.
