Tableau Cloud/Server Show Hidden Fields

Question

Hi, If you upload a Tableau workbook with the hidden fields. Can these fields be unhidden from Tableau Cloud or Server? Thanks

Here is a link to the documentation referenced in that thread on Editing a Published Data Source. The option you choose will depend on the version of Tableau Server you are running.

Hi Ester,   If they're hidden in the workbook, then yes they should be able to be unhidden. If it's part of the extract, then you may need to be more involved in downloading the workbook or connection and remove the extract and show hidden fields. This is to ensure you have access to the source data in order to unhide.   Thanks, Mavis
