I was embedding links in Notion until today. Now, every time I try to embed a link, I get an error message which is super unhelpful.
The error message is:
Given that this is Tableau Cloud my server admin is Tableau.
I have tried the following links for embedding:
- https://us-west-2b.online.tableau.com/t/epiccleantec/views/MonthlyLog_16999758398190/MonthlyLogSheet?:toolbar=no (***** this is the one I want to have working *****)
- https://us-west-2b.online.tableau.com/#/site/epiccleantec/views/MonthlyLog_16999758398190/MonthlyLogSheet?:iid=1
- https://us-west-2b.online.tableau.com/#/site/epiccleantec/views/MonthlyLog_16999758398190/MonthlyLogSheet?:iid=1&toolbar=no
According to Tableau Integrations | Connect Your Apps with Notion all I need do is paste the link and choose embed. The option to embed doesn't always happen depending on the link, so I have to sometimes choose the embed function and then give it the link.
Up until today I was able to embed, but the toolbar would always show no matter what. I am not sure if this is a Tableau or a Notion issue.

Hi, you may try with:
https://us-west-2b.online.tableau.com/t/epiccleantec/views/MonthlyLog_16999758398190/MonthlyLogSheet?:toolbar=no&:embed=yes&:showVizHome=no
If this post resolves the question, would you be so kind to "Select as Best"?. This will help other users find the same answer/resolution and help community keep track of answered questions. Thank you.
