I have a Tableau Prep flow which contains a Python script. This works fine whilst running in Prep locally on my desktop, connecting to an instance of TabPy also running locally. (I'm setting the connection credentials to local host via Settings and Performance -> Manage Analytics Extension Connection).
I now need to update the flow to Tableau Server in order to be able to setup a regular schedule. Our setup is such that TabPy is running on a different server to Tableau Server and I therefore need to specify the IP address, port, user name and password for the connection to work successfully. However, any settings applied in Tableau Prep on my desktop do not appear to be embedded / apply correctly when the flow is uploaded to Tableau Server.
When editing the flow on Tableau Server, there does appear to be option to edit the connection credentials, but it is greyed out, both for me and our server administrator:
Grateful for any advice on how I might go about embedding / setting the required connection credentials.

Hi, you need to configure the Analytical Extension in Tableau Server. Take a look of:
Note that flows that has scripts are not supported in Tableau Cloud, only in Tableau Server.
If this post resolves the question, would you be so kind to "Select as Best"?. This will help other users find the same answer/resolution and help community keep track of answered questions. Thank you.
