Hi Folks,

I added a reference line to my viz because I am trying to represent data that is foretasted spending data.  I added the line and asked Tableau to "Fill Down."

The viz looks like this:

Reference Line - Control Axis???

Great!  When I initially looked at this, I though it was because of the negative value in the view.  Upon closer examination, "fill down" means to physically fill down from the line to the physical bottom of the chart.  Any way to control this to say "don't go beyond the zero axis"?

What I am trying to is to put the blue and green bars inside the brown bar - bars in bar chart.  The blue and green bars are being pulling on to the viz via Measure Values and then a dual axis with the forecast value.  At least that was the way I did it before I tried the reference line.

Open to ideas!

How about using a reference band instead? For the "Band From" value, you can use the value you're using now. For the "Band To" value, create a new parameter and set it to 0.
