Hi All,
We are trying to export data via crosstab but see that the columns which are numbers in the database are displayed and formatted as Text. Where on every such column we see a error icon "Number stored as text".
I also found a KB article for it https://kb.tableau.com/articles/issue/numbers-converted-to-strings-when-exporting-to-crosstab and followed step 4 but the error is still there.
Our Tableau server version is 2020.3.5.
Any help on how to fix this would be really helpfull.

I agree; we are suffering from the same problem. If the base data-type is not string in Tableau, Tableau should not be exporting strings. Many of our users want to export to XLS to do further analysis; this issue creates a ton of support hassle for us.
