I've got a small dataset in excel (example attached). It lists lends of library books according to genre and lender category. It also includes information on total lends and how many items in each genre is in the stack.

I need a calculated field that divides the total lends by stack items, but am unsure how to identify the specific number in the calculation.

Logically, it would be something like Borrow_cat=total_lends / borrow_cat=stack - but I can't figure out how to include the Total lends and Stack in my calculation.

    Hi @Lise Kok Petersen

    a. try this if you like to show on the table or as a KPI

    {sum(if [Borrow_Cat] = 'Stack' THEN [Lends] END )}/

    {sum(if [Borrow_Cat] = 'Total_Lends' THEN [Lends] END )}

    b. The calc. is good if you just want to show it as KPI

    sum(if [Borrow_Cat] = 'Stack' THEN [Lends] END )/

    Sum(if [Borrow_Cat] = 'Total_Lends' THEN [Lends] END )

    I hope this helps.
