Our entire org was unable to view buttons which has visibility controlled by custom permissions between the times listed in the question but at about 4:40, the visibility returned. Just wondering what the root cause may have been.

Hello @Samuel Clement, did not see such issue. but do not hesitate to have a look at trust maintenance to see if there was any identified issue on your instance
