Hey team,
I'm not very familiar with Tableau and haven't used it since it migrated over to Tableau Public. I need to revisit some old data and I'm having difficulty getting my previous workbooks to open. I will add the workbook and source files to this post.
This is the error:
Unable to complete action
Workbooks saved to Tableau Public must use active Tableau extracts. Right-click the data source and select Use Extract before publishing.
The data source, sankey, is not an active extract.
Error Code: 8452077E
I have tried to research how to correct this, but to be honest I am confused by most of the explanations I have seen. If anyone can assist, I would be deeply appreciative. If you are offering advice, please make sure it is explained at a beginner level so I can understand what steps to take.

Hi, when working with Tableau Dekstop Public, don't forget to extract your data, even if it is a twbx and if you don't extract the info, you won't be able to open the workbook.
I have used Tableau Desktop (not Tableau Desktop Public) to generate the extract, so you can open the workbook.
So, two recommendations when working with Tableau Desktop Public:
a. Make sure you have extracted the datasource.
b. Save as Packaged workbook.
