With next week's Winter ‘26 release, 

SLDS 2 is going GA and dark mode (beta) is finally here! 😎 

Dark mode is initially available in Starter orgs, followed by a gradual rollout to Sales and Service Clouds in the next few releases. 

This feature is exclusive to SLDS 2 themes. Customers interested in using dark mode should first transition to SLDS 2.  

Can’t wait for dark mode to hit your org? You may be a candidate for early access via our pilot program. Take these two steps to be nominated for the pilot:   

1. Complete the Dark Mode Pilot Intake Survey
2. Ask your Salesforce representative to nominate you for the Dark Mode Pilot
