Mastering DocuGen Templates for CPQ Quotes & Work Orders

If you’re struggling to use DocuGen Templates for generating quotes and work orders in Salesforce CPQ, I completely understand—I’ve spent the last three weeks figuring it out with minimal help from DocuSign’s documentation. 💡 Grouping Quote Line Items by CPQ Groups 

 If you need to organize your quote by CPQ groups and separate optional vs. non-optional items, here’s what worked for me:

Keep in mind that you will get "NaN" for the sum amounts if they are over 999 unless you make a formula text field in the record and then reference that field for the Sum() in the template.
