Starting with the Spring ’25 release, Salesforce is retiring JDK locale formats and will attempt enforcing ICU locale formats on a rolling basis. With this release update, it is important to review the difference between ICU and JDK to know expected behaviors in you sandbox.

It is also essential to update any of your custom code using an API version older than 45 so that your org can be enabled for ICU and maintain consistency across your UI experience. If you need additional time to test, don’t worry -- you can take action to defer the enforcement!

Please note, enforcement will occur unless the admin defers before their org is upgraded to the next major release. Check out our help article which covers this in further detail 👈
