Hi! My exec is spending waaayyyyy too much time copying and pasting routine posts that need to go into channels. I need delegate access so it looks like it was posted by him, but it was me, his executive assistant.
This is a basic feature, common in google mail, workday, concur, etc.
I can see it is commonly brought up to the IT team and via customers as well. Is there really no delegate access?? What is being done to fix this??
You can write a custom application to do this. The app will need to have the appropriate scopes to post messages.
Then, your app will need to be “installed” by the exec, so you can obtain the appropriate tokens. The EA can then use this to post the message.
It’s a little more technical than that, but basically you can do it with a custom app.
