So looking for some advice on how to do the following, and I should note we are NOT on the new NonProfit Cloud offering, just NPSP and a custom build. We have always done some soft skill trainings, but those are usually just one day sessions, so a one and done, type of thing. But recently we have started doing a series of trainings that span several weeks and multiple dates. The overall "theme" is digital literacy, but we have 5 different classes/courses and we want to know and report out on who completed all 5 of the trainings. But like I said each class is offered multiple times within a time frame. So we have "Training 1" on 6/2, "Training 2" on 6/6 and so on. But then we would have "Training 1" on 6/3 and "Training 2" on 6/7. So, people are enrolled into 5 different trainings and we want to know who completed all 5.
I can create the reports and get a record count easy enough, however, I can't filter or group by record counts (yet, apparently an idea is in development). I could do a rollup using DLSR, but that get's tricky because this will span calendar years.... and I want just know who and how many completed for each high level digital literacy series. And our original build to track and enter these classes and enrollments were never designed for what we are trying to do... I am willing to build something out but looking for suggestions.
@Dodi Friedenberg we do also need to know who completed a series in a given year as well. I know DLRS can do the rollups, I am just trying to avoid having multiple Year fields on an object to track, etc. I do have rollups for each "Class", the issue is the classes are not connected in any other way. Since we are not using PPM or Case Mangement, etc, I don't really have a way to "group" the specific trainings. I also know you don't know how we built out our trainings. Going the flow route is an option, but they want this information in reports and dashboards, etc. I admit, I may be over thinking this, but I have tried a lot of different options and can't think of a good way to note it, without a junction object, similar to PMM.
