New video "Blog" on Permission Sets! I've been quiet for a bit, but it's because I've been creating some original content around permission sets and permission set groups. They have become super-important to me and I think they should be for all nonprofits and small organizations.

I think you can't afford to keep building your org with profiles only (and I don't endorse migrating with any tools from profiles to permission sets at this time). So let's become permission set-based admins togetoerh!

• The first two videos give you an overview of what you can find in settings. 
• The third video (premiers Wednesday) gives you my recommended approach to immediately begin mixing profiles and permissions set and build career and organizational value as well as improve admin efficiency. 
• The forth video (premiers Thursday) gives examples of how to start using the new permission sets you build in step 3 as soon as the next Summer release or updated package you deal with.
• The fifth video (the rest preview one per day) is for those of you in organizations who may be resistant. It also explains why I don't think you should migrate. I don't believe in migration for migration sake. It's working now... why break it. Focus on building value for your organization in terms of better factuality, less risk, etc.
• The sixth video shows you you can beging to do once you have mastered permission set-based administration. We have done some very cool things in very short time that would have been near-impossible with just profiles.
• The last video in the series tells what a permission set cannot do and how to deal with that. Solutions must still include profiles, public memberships, permission set groups and occasionally some out-and-out hacks to deliver solutions and delights users.
