How can I add a graphic (png or jpeg) to instructions in a Metadata Types>Standard Requirement Settings?

Hi Jason, custom metadata don't support rich text fields, which let you embed images, but as a potential workaround you could try and use emojis depending on the use case. This could work if you're trying to display color coded statuses, such as red, yellow, green. However, if you need more tailored specific graphics, you could maybe upload those somewhere and copy the image link in a URL field. Then, you could try and reference that custom metadata URL value in an IMAGE() function wherever you need to reference it, such as in a flow.
