Hi all. I have 2 datasets I need to join, but I can't quite figure out how to make the join I need work on a CRMA recipe. The SQL-like statement is:
DS1.key = DS2.field1 OR DS1.key = DS2.field2
From what I see, I can add both conditions on the Join node, but they work as AND (not as OR). Is there a way to do this?
Alternatively, I can just create 2 streams within the recipe (one containing the records that join via DS1.key = DS2.field1 and the other one the records that join via DS1.key = DS2.field2) and merge the results. However, I can't figure out how to do this either :( "Merge" is the keyword, as there would be duplicate records from both sets (some records from DS1 would join with DS2 by either/both of the conditions) and I don't want duplicates in the result. An "Append" node just adds everything.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks a lot @Roman Michalik! My use case was a bit more complex than how I had simplified it but I was able to make it work from your description (and combined with this other blog I found, very useful too).
