Hi, we got to new people who we have been set up on Pardot/SF as Identity Users.
When it comes to sync the user to get automatically get the user it wont work. It is not a free text field either, so we are stuck. Anyone any ideas as to what we may have missed in the process of it. We followed the normal and simple setup but get stuck on this one here. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Cheers KIKI
Okay give that a couple of mins and I am very confident that will fix the issue for you.
This is a very important step as it allows the user access to that specific Business Unit (BU). If you do not do this, the user will not have access at all! Even if you only have one BU, you need to carry out this step.
In terms of how this works, this allows the user into the BU, then User Sync will determine what role the user should have based on their profile.
You alluded to a sync problem earlier and that's exactly what we expect (and want!) when a user doesn't have permission to a specific BU.
