I am working on the FSC work book and came across below exercise:

Rachel Adams has a new Accountant, Steve Smith from Smith, Kohl and Company. The Advisor

wants to capture that information in ARC. Let’s add her new Accountant’s firm via the ARC Related Account card as an Account-Account

Relationship and let’s add Steve Smith as a Contact-Contact relationship.

When we are creating a relationship for a client which is a person account with a business firm, it should be a Account-Contact relationship. For a client(B2C), can we create a Account to Account relationship using ARC.

When dealing with a B2C client modeled as a Person Account, you cannot natively create a direct Account-to-Account relationship inside Actionable Relationship Center (ARC). Because a Person Account inherently combines both an Account and a Contact record under the hood, any business relationship connecting an individual client to an external corporate firm (such as an accounting practice or advisory firm) must be established using an Account-Contact relationship structure.

To map this correctly in your configuration, you should link the business firm account directly to the individual's underlying contact record using standard Account-Contact affiliations or role-based junction objects. This ensures that ARC renders the hierarchy correctly and allows you to display both the firm-level business association and the individual contact relationship seamlessly on the client's relationship map.
