Our #1 source of catering leads is Google.

We have a sophisticated Google Ad strategy that tracks activity on our website to retarget customers and create lookalike audiences based on signals that get triggered by certain events.

The main events that signify a qualified lead happen inside the Book Us form.

Currently, the Book Us form is operating inside an iframe through a third party service called Formsite. Google cannot read any activity that happens inside the form. This is severely impacting our Google Ad performance in a negative way. Our optimization opportunities are extremely limited with this setup, meaning we have to spend thousands of dollars to get a large enough volume of leads to find the few qualified ones.

The solution to this problem is switching it to a native form on the website. However, our website is on a platform called POPMenu. They do not offer any direct integrations with Salesforce (which is why we chose to work with Formsite in the first place), so if we made the switch our sales team would have to manually enter every lead. Not a sustainable solution.

Zhen mentioned that according to his Salesforce knowledge there may be a way outside of a direct integration. An email notification that includes all the information they filled out in the form can be sent anywhere. He thought there might be a way to BCC Salesforce to automatically port the key data from the form into a new lead that way. This is where you come in.
