Replace picklist values with global value set

Hi - so we have three identical picklist fields with individual picklist values so any time a change is made it needs to be done 3x. I've promoted one list to global so now that leaves 2x. Is there anyway to replace the picklist values on these two remaining fields with the global set or do I have to recreate the field? Please and Thank you.
