During the development of a new validation rule, we were unable to get the validation to occur on save. I came back to the same validation rule a couple of hours later to continue troubleshooting, and the rule was now working correctly. I verified the rule hadn't been changed since the prior time when it wasn't working.
I know there is much more caching in Lightning than classic, but I didn't think Validation rules were cached.
Can anyone confirm if Validation Rules are cached or not?
I think best way to find this out is,
either by using a separate browser
or by using incognito window (if incognito is not available then Chrome offers new users feature, you can use that).
Of course clearing the cache is an option, but above steps might save some of your useful caches. :)
