I went through the steps to configure the Gift Entry tool, but am receiving an error when trying to process a batch:
"You do not have permissions to access npsp__Allocation__c.npsp__Payment__c, npsp__Allocation__c.npsp__Payment__c."
This occurred as soon as I enabled Gift Entry from "System Tools | Advanced Mapping for Data Import & Gift Entry." I had a remaining batch in Batch Gift Entry that I tried to process after enabling Gift Entry and the above error message showed up.
Anyone have any ideas about these permissions?

Thanks for the quick response! That seemed to do it - I think I misinterpreted what "default" meant in that step of the instructions. I thought it meant those permissions were already granted and I didn't need to do anything.
My old batch successfully processed, so I'll go ahead and hide the BGE tab moving forward. Thanks for your help (and patience)!
