Which error are you seeing when attempting to preview/generate the quote? Is it "An error occurred rendering the document?" If so, this is a commonly seen issue that is easy to work around.
Most commonly this error is caused by something in a piece of your template content, namely HTML that is incompatible with the document generator. This could involve something like incompatible HTML attributes or certain fields using "&" in them (since the ampersand is a special character, it requires extra code to be recognized, i.e., &).
The best way to troubleshoot which piece of template content is causing document generation to fail is to use Clone With Related on the quote template in question, then begin removing one template section at a time while attempting to preview/generate the document after that section has been removed. When the document generates correctly after a particular section has been removed, that is the section that is causing issues. You can troubleshoot the individual section from there.
If you can narrow down the section that is causing the issue, post a screenshot of the section set up and, if it's an HTML section the actual HTML content here so we can look it over. Just remember that this is a public forum so you might have to block out or change any proprietary text.
