Sending a mass email to both contacts and certain SF users in lightning

Question

We currently use lightning and many times we need to send mass emails to a group of contacts which we're able to do by having those contacts in a list view and sending a list email. Ideally we'd like to be able to CC or add certain SF users to that email so that they know it went out and I can't quite figure out how to do that.

There isn't a cc functionality available within the List E-mail feature, unfortunately. You may be able to create an automation that fires when an e-mail is logged to the contact or lead, but this would be custom and would not be configured through the list e-mail process.
