Salesforce.com Update Reminder For Your Team

Question

I have recently received an email from one of our executives asking why she has recieved this reminder I did not set this up and was wondering if there is a way to check who set this up or if this is a feature that salesforce activates itself.

The email has a list of opportunities and a narrative below:

"An Opportunity Update Reminder is a periodic email summary of the pipeline of your direct reports.

This feature is included with your current service, and has been courtesy-activated for you because the application has detected you have direct reports in the role hierarchy.

Salesforce.com highly recommends customizing your reminder using the button below."

Can someone please help with understand who i can check who set this up?

Hi Temitayo, it looks the update reminder was enabled in your Org. You can search for "Update Reminders" in setup and disable it.    https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=customize_oppreminder.htm&type=5
