SELECT AccountId FROM Contact WHERE Name = 'ekta'
And I am getting an error like :
INVALID_FIELD:
SELECT AccountId FROM Contact WHERE Name = 'ekta'

ERROR at Row:1:Column:37
field 'Name' can not be filtered in a query call
Any help will be highly appreciated.

@Nelson Javier Ressio: you are God! how the hell a new joinee know that the encryption is causing this! you are following assignment after assignment , first assignment makes u encrypt and after ages some assignent wants to query that..
