I personally know that Salesforce is really useful, but I am trying to take note of all of the reasons my company should use Salesforce. It is currently seen as a holder for Accounts and Contacts. I see it as more, and I have done a lot of work in it since I have started here. I would hate to see it replaced.

We are a Home Care Company - has anyone used this for Home Care purposes?

Thanks,

There are plenty of reasons, but here are a few ideas that might help:

    • If adoption is low, see if you can convince managers to track success based on what's in Salesforce--quickest way to get people using the product!
    • If there is already rich data in Salesforce, but your CEO just doesn't understand what's there outside of Accounts and Contacts, create some dashboards for the CEO that track key metrics that matter to YOUR company's purpose and bottom line. You might also consider emailing a dashboard or component(s) to the CEO on a schedule--this is a great way to show the value of Salesforce for executives who won't actually log in.
    • Pull reports that compare useage to actual output, if your company's productivity actually has increased since implementing Salesforce.
    • For users who have the Outlook-SFDC connector installed, show some examples of all the activity history that is tracked for key accounts, and point out that this rich contextual data will be gone without Salesforce.

    Good luck!
