This year we decided to send End of Year (EOY) acknowledgements via email whenever we had a valid preferred email address. We chose an app exchange product to help with this (Conga Composer along with Conga Conductor). The email body utilizes fields w/in SalesForce (eg Account Name and Contribution Amount) and we additionally attached a pdf version of the acknowledgement. We have about 5000 of these emails to send. Due to our SF API limits (about 60K/day) I cannot send more than about 1000 emals per day. And even more frustratingly, I have to create even smaller batches to keep under other SF or Conga limits. Now maybe I'm just doing it wrong :-) but I'm curious how others might be accomplishing the same thing (customized email and attachment) batch emailed out to our donors. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. FWIW, Conga is a nice, extreemly functional/flexible app with GREAT support. I'm just wondering if there's a better way than doing 50 batches 100 emails at a time over 5 days....
