Opportunity List view I have a button named New. I want to change the layout here without affecting my opportunity page layout

When I click on this new button it takes me to the opportunity page layout.  I would like to be able to create an opportunity without seeing all the fields needed in the full opportunity details page.

 

I am not a developer and all ways I find to do this requires code.  Please help.

    Hi Laura,

     

    It wasn't easy as i was expecting it to be, i was trying to create a button that can redirect to the custom global action but no luck. So from my point of view you, if you don't want to code you will have to pull of New button from List view and Related List and rely on Global Actions (+ button on top right, Global actions added to pushlisher layout will appear on click of this) for oppty creation, otherwise if you are comfortable with code you can override the New button with custom LWC/Aura component.
