I'd like to re-create the standard forecast tab via reporting to be more flexible.
I'd like to combine a forecast report with opportunity splits to get in 1 report both split types. standard oppty split (per default 100% is assigned to the sole owner and you could split with others any value between 0-100%) and combine with overlay split values (where add. supporting memebers can get more than 100% assigned).
As our user sometimes are the sole oppty owner and on other opptys only part of supporting memembers.
I'd like to report by split owner/user to see all the values sumed up. Ideally I can also add quota values to it.
So far I have tried the opportunity split report which I'm missing the manager field of the split user so I can do roll-ups and custom report will bring add. drawbacks such as not having fiscal period fields and close date(2) fields.
Also I'm missing the quotas. Whereas with forecast type reports, Im struggeling to see/display any numbers and especially to see the oppty names and to get forecasted values from both split types standard and overlay.
Is there a SF reporting crack out there that could help me?
