I have a very simple lead assignment rule.  If the lead has lead source "web" and not a custom field sub-lead source of "newsletter", then it is assigned to Bridget if in the state of FL, and to Alex for all other values.

Lead assignment rules are not working when new leads are created from marketing automation plugin

When I create a new lead manually (i.e. in leads tab, click new) - leads are assigned and notifications are sent without issue.

We use a marketing automation plugin called Makesbridge and utilize forms on our website to capture new leads.  When someone fills ou the form on our website, it automatically creates the lead in SFs wtih all info as well as lead source "web" and sub lead source "webinar, contact us, newsletter, etc." depending on the form.  When these are created in SF - they ALWAYS have me as the owner (my SF login is used as the connector) and the lead assignment never applies.

I've reached out to Makesbridget support but they're unable to provide any specifics as to why this would be the case. Looking for any suggestions to help get this working so I don't have to manually assign every lead we get on our website.

I know Pardot has a feature of "Assign Leads using Assignment Rules" that we have to enable if we wish the new record to follow our Salesforce Assignment Rules.  Is there any feature in your software that you can enable that says to use the Salesforce/CRM Assignment Rules?

If not, you could create Process Builder or Worfklows instead of Assignment Rules on "New" Leads and recreate your Assignment rules in there.  Then you can put your new web leads right where you want 'em.
